Winners to announce and some much needed clarification is overdue!
I have had 2 fabulous giveaways come to a close so now it's time to announce some winners!!
The winners of the 2 sets of Sunglass Cases from MyEyeglassCase.com are ...... Dana Beeman and Robin Quick!!! .
The winner of the My Caring Cross is ...... Shirley Pebbles!!!
Congratulations ladies! Didn't win this time? That's ok, I have a lot more giveaways going on and more to come!
Now, for some MUCH needed clarification when it comes to entering into my giveaways. This last giveaway, I had to delete tons of entries due to people not following instructions. First off, when you follow me via GFC, I ask that you please leave your username. There is a reason for this; I have no way of knowing under which name you follow my blog. Same with Networked Blogs, Facebook, and Twitter...it's very important that you leave your username. Also, please leave the link to your tweets about the giveaway. I have no way of knowing if you actually tweeted or not.
I really hate when I have to delete entries, but I must be fair for everyone else that followed the instructions. So I ask, from now on, please make sure that ALL boxes are filled out. Even if it doesn't ask for specific information, please leave something. If I ask for a vote, just note that you voted.
I really appreciate ALL of my wonderful readers and I want every one of you to have a fair chance of winning one of my fabulous giveaways.
Thank you for understanding :)

Algebrator by Softmath Review
Algebrator, by Softmath, is the perfect algebra software that will solve your math homework step by step. Algebrator is perfect for students, teachers, and homeschoolers. Algebrator is a complete math tutoring solution for solving problem from pre-algebra all the way through the advanced college level (Trigonometry and Statistics). If you are looking for an algebra problem solver, this is it!
I have always struggled with advanced math problems. I honestly don't know how I even passed high school. Algebra classes really sparked a lot of anxiety in me and I was horrified to learn that my 7th grader was starting to learn pre-algebra. I felt so helpless. When I cam across Algebrator, I thought to myself...this is just too good to be true. You know what, it's not!! It is every bit of what it says. My daughter used it and said, mama...I LOOOOVE it! I said, baby, you have no idea just how much mama loves it! Where the heck was this when I was in school?? Sad thing is, I didn't have to learn Algebra until I was a freshman in high school!
All you have to do is type in the problem, and voila, the answer appears. Now don't get this mixed up with an easy solution to your homework, kids, because this isn't a program that was designed to help you 'cheat'. It is designed to help you learn how the answer was achieved, step by step, and to help you understand how Algebra rules are applied in your problems. This is an absolutely perfect algebra helper.
I am extremely pleased with the Algebrator and would have loved to have this when I was learning algebra. This will help my daughter, in the coming years, to learn algebra the way I never did. I rate this product a 10 on a scale of 1-10. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone, middle school or college, whom is struggling with math. They will thank you forever.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Google Friend Connect going away...hmmm
So I'm guessing a lot of you have heard, by now, that they are doing away with Google Friend Connect by March 2012. I guess I'm not sure what they mean since it says that GFC is being retired for all non blogger sites and that they are going to replace it with Google +. So, does that mean Blogger blogs are ok, and other's like Wordpress are not? I don't understand... Anyway, I'm asking that all of my lovelies please follow me on Google + here...just until there is further clarification. It couldn't hurt...right?! :)
Read more about the retirement of GFC here on Google's blog.

Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Review and Giveaway
I was extremely please when I received my jar of Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil. I couldn't wait to cook with it. I love anything coconut, so this was a real pleasure for me to review.
Before I go forward with my review, here is a little bit about the company:
Before I go forward with my review, here is a little bit about the company:
This Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil. This coconut oil is made on Mt. Banahaw and surrounding areas from organic coconuts. Coconuts are used fresh (within 24-48 hours of harvest) from small family farms on Mt. Banahaw and other rural places in Quezon Province, the coconut capital of the Philippines. Only the highest quality coconuts are hand-picked from each harvest. The volcanic soil of Mt. Banahaw makes these organic coconuts some of the most nutritionally rich coconuts in the world! Testing done in independent laboratories reveals higher levels of phenolic antioxidants than other coconut oils. The fresh coconut meat is shredded (wet milled), and then cold-pressed using the water from inside the coconuts to make coconut milk. The milk is then allowed to sit for about half a day, while the oil naturally separates from the heavier water. The oil is then filtered from the curds (coconut solids). No chemical or high-heat treatment is used, and this oil contains no trans fatty acids. We do NOT mass produce this oil. It is made by families who are coconut farmers using old-fashioned traditional methods that have been used in the Philippines for hundreds of years. Our coconut trees and family producers are certified organic according to strict USDA standards. The families who produce the oil are also trained according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and re-certified each year. This high-grade Virgin Coconut Oil has a long shelf life due to the high antioxidant properties. The Gold Label Standard is our highest standard for Virgin Coconut Oil.

Judie's Jems Review and a $25 Gift Certificate Giveaway
"I've been making jewelry for the last 5 years. The way I started was actually being diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 7 years ago. I was couch bound for about 2 years before they figured out what was wrong with me. I was in a very bad place and just couldn't live like that anymore. Its how I discovered my talent having all that time on my hands. I always say that making jewelry saved my life. Its given me back my purpose in life. To be so passionate about something is simply AWESOME. I LOVE what I do!!! I make all types of jewelry. Alot of love goes into every piece I make. I hope you love my creations as much as I do."
Judie's Jems is definitely one of a kind when it comes to her jewelry! You MUST believe me when I say this... just take a look at the Huge Rhinestone Flower Freshwater Pearl Necklace, above. Isn't that a gorgeous piece of jewelry?!! Simply breathtaking. Judie made this necklace out of freshwater pearls and a brooch that was turned into a pendant. One of kind necklace. The pendent clearly has a lot of beautiful sparkle to it; you are sure to stand out on a night out with your spouse or a night out with the girls.
Its finished in sterling silver plate chain and hdwr. It measures 17" and will extend to 19".
To the left, you will see a Peacock Crystal Swarovski Crystal Pendant Necklace. This piece was also created by turning a brooch into a pendant. This is another "leave you breathless" piece of work.
This pendant measures 1 3/4" in length and 2 1/4" across. I did the rest of the necklace in 6mm swarovski crystals in lavender ab and tibetan silver accent beads.
You must visit her Etsy shop and check out the other pieces Judie has created.
Below, you will see some other gorgeous pieces that I randomly selected.
Now onto the fun stuff...

The Slice™ Safety Cutter Review
The Slice™ Safety Cutter - Great For Couponers is the most versatile tool you'll ever own. Features a finger-friendly microscopic ceramic blade that's quick, easy and a safe substitute for scissors. Perfect for scrap-booking, clipping recipes, couponsand news articles, removing shrink-wrap, opening CDs, DVDs, and plastic packaging, and more. Includes a built-in magnet and key-ring hole.
- Ceramic blade lasts longer than steel
- Stays sharp and never rusts
- Built-in magnet and key-ring hole
- Finger-Friendly™ Design
- For left- and right-handers
Now onto my review...
The Slice™ Safety Cutter is one of the most neatest gadgets I have come across in a long time. It's so small that you can carry it with you anywhere. Going to the store? Take it with you to cut coupons at the store. I was actually amazed at how small the ceramic blade was. I had to really look for it. First Impression was, ok, how is this tinsie tiny blade going to really do anything. Well, just so happens I received a package that day, from UPS, so I decided to try it out. Normally I would use a steak knife to open packages, me + steak knife = disaster! I used the Slice™ Safety Cutter and it cut through the packing tape with ease. Then I got a little too excited and just started cutting random things..paper, newspaper and even a few coupons (that I didn't need). Let me tell you, I had a lot of fun using the Slice™ Safety Cutter. The super small ceramic blade makes it completely safe for kids to use as well! I like to cut coupons and this has made it so easy and even fun. Where has this been all of my life?!
If you are a couponer, then this is a MUST HAVE product. It's so easy to use, lightweight, and you can carry it with you everywhere you go. Another huge bonus is that a minimum of 1% of all Slice product sales is donated to help fund autism research. By purchasing their products, you’re helping to find a cure for the millions of children and their families who live with autism every day...now that is something to feel good about.
Where to buy: You can purchase Slice products here. You can also connect with them on Facebook here.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Blaze Nail Lacquer Review
Blaze color change nail polish lacquers by SolarActive are 'solemates' specially made to be worn together.
The Blaze nail polish lacquer and product line includes over 40 brilliant shades of top selling creamy polishes including matte, glitter, pearlescent, and fluorescent colors. Blaze color changing nail polish lacquer is one shade indoors and like magic...just add the sun for the 'solemate' color to appear. Changes color in the sun, no matter the season!
Blaze's new formula is designed to increase flexibility, durability, wear and gloss. Blaze nail polish lacquer is a long-wearing formula providing a tough, durable chip-resistant finish with UV protection to prevent discoloration.
Free from Formaldehyde, Toluene & DBP.
Now onto my review...
I was given 2 colors for my review. I have got to say that these polishes are fabulous. I left it on my fingernails for around 7 days and after day 5, they barely started to chip. I do a lot of typing and washing dishes, so that says a lot! The polish goes on super smooth and after about 3 minutes, my nails were completely dry and ready for abuse.
First up is the Crushed Ice to Brandy Chaser (love that name combination). This is a gold glitter nail polish lacquer. I'm normally not too fond of glitter but this one was really pretty and the glitter flakes were nice and small and gave off TONS of sparkle. It goes on gold and changes to a beautiful golden rust color...love it!
BEFORE |
AFTER 2 COATS |
AFTER 3 COATS |
Next, I reviewed Sheer Bliss to Black Ice. This goes in clear and changes to a very light smokey gray color, after 2 coats and then a medium-dark smokey gray after 3 coats.. This one is my favorite out of the two. I don't really like to wear nail polish on my fingernails, so the clear was perfect for me. I REALLY love the color it changes to. One thing though, make sure your application is even or you will definitely see streaks when it changes color.
BEFORE |
AFTER 2 COATS |
AFTER 3 COATS |
My overall impression, on a scale of 1-10, I would rate this fabulous product a 9. I was HIGHLY impressed with the quality and the durability of the polish. My daughter fell in love, as did I, the minute she walked outside and witnessed the color change. Will I be buying this product in the future....YES! I plan on buying more and giving them as stocking stuffers to my 2 oldest girls. When summer rolls around, I will be stocking up...I love to keep my tootsies painted.
Where to buy: You can go to http://www.solaractiveintl.com and purchase a .45 oz. bottle for only 12.95!
