Before receiving the Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner I had remembered seeing another Cristophe product on a shopping channel. I was intrigued about the product line, which brought me to this review. I have dry, dull, lifeless hair and I'm always on the look out for new products to add to my shampoo and conditioner rotation. I have several different shampoos and conditioners, that I rotate, so that my hair won't 'get used' to the same stuff; I've learned a lot over the years through self discovery and through beauty blogs and websites.Here's the deal with me and shampoo/conditioner; It's important, to me, that there is some sort of 'slip' to my hair while the products are in there. If I don't feel that 'slip' then I know that the products are not going to work for my particular hair type. Cristophe's Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, both, provided me with that 'slip' that I so desire in hair cleansing products. After applying, I just couldn't wait to see how my hair was going to turn out. Let me back track for just a second. The smell of this shampoo and conditioner is TO DIE FOR; It kind of reminds of a drugstore brand (which shall remain nameless) that just never worked for my hair but I kept trying to use just becuase I loved the smell of the product. The smell will linger for a bit but didn't seem to interfere with my perfume or scented lotions.
The consistency of the shampoo and conditioner is nice and thick. I don't know about you but, I just do not like a runny shampoo and definitely not a runny conditioner. The shampoo really cleansed, my naturally oily hair, to perfection. My hair felt so moisturized just from using the shampoo alone. Next I applied the conditioner - to the ends only. If you try to use any conditioner (not just this one) on the roots, you're going to end up with zero volume! Anyway, I let it sit in my hair long enough for me to bath, shave and all of that good stuff. During the rinsing process, I just couldn't get over how 'slippery' my hair felt. Seriously, I just love the feeling of my fingers effortlessly gliding through my wet hair. It rinses out easily. It may feel like you still have product in your hair but, that is just the conditioner making your wet hair feel so silky. I couldn't wait to blow it dry to see the final results.After letting my hair air dry for about 20 minutes, I got down to business. I did not use any other type of products in my hair. Normally I will use a glossing serum or heat protectant before blow drying but, I wanted to see the true results. Just as I had hoped, my hair was super shiny and silky soft! I normally have to use a glossing treatment to obtain those kind of results. I was pleasantly surprised and way too happy, hehe. I have given these products a permanent home in my shampoo and conditioner rotation.

I've worked with Erth Minerals, in the past, and fell in love with their eyeshadow and lip gloss. I was, of course, thrilled to get the opportunity to work with them again. I was sent 2 blushers, a foundation, moth veil, eye concealer and their new Prime Moisturizing Eye Primer.

Next is the foundation and moth veil. I have used many mineral foundations and just when I thought I found the perfect shade for my ghostly, pale skin.... I discovered that their foundation (in 1.0, on the left) suites my skin tone even better! I tried to do a swatch, on my arm, but you just could not see the color at all! That's how much of a perfect match this foundation is!! I was very impressed with the coverage. I don't need a lot of coverage but, when I do, this layers on nicely. The Moth Veil, used over your foundation, gave my skin the flawless look we ladies only dream about. Have pale skin? Give Erth Minerals Foundation 1.0 and their Moth Veil a shot!
Erth Mineral's newest product is the Prime Moisturizing Eye Primer. Erth's Prime Eye Primer works double-duty! As a lid primer, Prime both extends the intensity & staying power of their mineral eyeshadows. As an eye creme, Prime treats our lids to a special blend of organic aloe, evening primrose oil, & other active botanicals to moisturize & protect delicate the delicate eye area. Now that is some good stuff for the eyelids! I am in love with this product! It did deepen my eyeshadow and even stayed on for about 2 hours longer than normal. Having oily skin, my eye makeup tends to wear off pretty fast; so for my eyeshadow to stay on 2 hours longer....that's a big deal! Wonderful, wonderful stuff.
