With that philosophy, you know you've just discovered a great company. Question is, how great are their products? Well, I'm going to tell a little bit about the products I received.

I was sent 2 products from their Hydrate line, the Moisturizing Shampoo and Vibrancy Conditioner, along with their popular Antioxidant Leave-In Protectant spray. The combination of these 3 products left my hair so wonderfully soft and full of body and shine.

The Moisturizing Shampoo was just that, moisturizing! I could tell an immediate difference once the shampoo was completely rinsed out. I understand that shampoo's responsibility is to cleanse the hair by getting rid of product build-up and grime but I never really thought of shampoo as moisturizing until I used this. I normally consider moisturizing as the conditioners job. Shampoo varies from label to label and some are just too heavy for my hair and others just are too light. There was a perfect balance with Shielo's Moisturizing Shampoo. Be warned that a little bit truly does go a long way. I have hair that is past my bra strap and I tend to over pour when it comes to shampoo. My first time using Shielo Moisturizing Shampoo was no exception; I used WAY more than what was necessary. Only use enough to cleanse the scalp. Conditioner is used for the ends since they're a lot more drier than the hair near the scalp. The Vibrancy Conditioner was awesome! Same as the shampoo, a little goes a very long way so go easy on it...you don't want to waste any! I don't style my hair everyday but when I do, my ends dry out so quickly. After just one use of the Vibrancy Conditioner, I could tell an immediate difference in the look and feel of my ends. The conditioner is light and extremely moisturizing. I do not like a heavy conditioner since my hair is long, it tends to become weighed down and kind of oily looking.

The importance of healthy hair is to take care of it and try to read the ingredient list. The Moisturizing Shampoo does not contain sulfates. Sulfates are harsh on the hair and cause it dry out a lot quicker than we'd like it to. This line is great for color treated hair. The more moisturized your hair is, the more vibrant the color is and will not fade as quickly...sounds great, right - you bet it does!

The Antioxidant Leave-In is paraben free and contains UV protection with organic extracts. This is one fabulous leave-in. It contains amino acids that infuse hair with vitamins while providing UV protection while eliminating frizz and protecting hair from styling tools...great stuff!

Before receiving the Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner I had remembered seeing another Cristophe product on a shopping channel.  I was intrigued about the product line, which brought me to this review.  I have dry, dull, lifeless hair and I'm always on the look out for new products to add to my shampoo and conditioner rotation.  I have several different shampoos and conditioners, that I rotate, so that my hair won't 'get used' to the same stuff; I've learned a lot over the years through self discovery and through beauty blogs and websites.

Here's the deal with me and shampoo/conditioner; It's important, to me, that there is some sort of 'slip' to my hair while the products are in there.  If I don't feel that 'slip' then I know that the products are not going to work for my particular hair type.  Cristophe's Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner, both, provided me with that 'slip' that I so desire in hair cleansing products.  After applying, I just couldn't wait to see how my hair was going to turn out.  Let me back track for just a second.  The smell of this shampoo and conditioner is TO DIE FOR; It kind of reminds of a drugstore brand (which shall remain nameless) that just never worked for my hair but I kept trying to use just becuase I loved the smell of the product.  The smell will linger for a bit but didn't seem to interfere with my perfume or scented lotions.


The consistency of the shampoo and conditioner is nice and thick.  I don't know about you but, I just do not like a runny shampoo and definitely not a runny conditioner.  The shampoo really cleansed, my naturally oily hair, to perfection.  My hair felt so moisturized just from using the shampoo alone.  Next I applied the conditioner - to the ends only.  If you try to use any conditioner (not just this one) on the roots, you're going to end up with zero volume! Anyway, I let it sit in my hair long enough for me to bath, shave and all of that good stuff.  During the rinsing process, I just couldn't get over how 'slippery' my hair felt.  Seriously, I just love the feeling of my fingers effortlessly gliding through my wet hair.  It rinses out easily.  It may feel like you still have product in your hair but, that is just the conditioner making your wet hair feel so silky.  I couldn't wait to blow it dry to see the final results.

After letting my hair air dry for about 20 minutes, I got down to business.  I did not use any other type of  products in my hair.  Normally I will use a glossing serum or heat protectant before blow drying but, I wanted to see the true results.  Just as I had hoped, my hair was super shiny and silky soft!  I normally have to use a glossing treatment to obtain those kind of results.  I was pleasantly surprised and way too happy, hehe.  I have given these products a permanent home in my shampoo and conditioner rotation.

The smell is so hard to describe but it has a nice fresh scent with a hint of honey. It had a nice creamy lather..not a lot of suds, which it shouldn't being that it is sulfate-free.  That's the part that takes a little getting used to.  You feel like you need a whole lot, but trust me, you don't.  My hair felt clean and moisturized just from using the shampoo alone!  I was extremely surprised and overly impressed with this shampoo.
