My Caring Cross Review and Giveaway
Today, I would love to introduce you to a company called My Caring Cross. Caring CrossesTM are individually carved from a single unique piece of beautifully grained olive wood pruned from the olive trees around Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus. Christians have been carving crosses like this for hundreds of years, originally for pilgrims and more recently tourists visiting the Holy Land. Each craftsman receives a fair price to support their family and Christian community. My Caring Crosses are designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand as an aid to prayer or meditation. Ideal as your spiritual companion for easing children's fears, comforting worries and stresses of adults and focusing the prayer of the sick and elderly.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Now onto my review...
I was very excited when I received the package. I took the cross out and just held it in the palm of my hands, for a few minutes. I love the way it feels in my hand. My Caring Crosses are nice and smooth and truly feel comfortable in the palm of my hand. I've had a rough week and when I felt like giving up, I took My Caring Cross into my hand and just prayed. To some, this may be just a piece of wood in the shape of a cross. To us Christians, it has a whole different meaning. The cross came in a burgundy velveteen bag along with an authenticity card. Also included, was a cream colored velveteen bag and a personalized card, which can be used when given as wedding favors
My Caring Crosses would made great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers. They also make for a great fundraiser at your local place of worship, or to distribute to hospice patients at your local hospital and nursing care facility.
This is a great aid to prayer or meditation.
Right now MyCaringCross.com has two specials going on till Christmas. Eight Caring Crosses delivered Priority Mail within the US for just $36 or $4.50 per cross or two Caring Crosses delivered within the US for $12.
If you would like to purchase one of these beautiful wooden crosses and you happen to win this giveaway, Caring Cross will refund you up to $10 from your purchase.

My Caring Cross would love to give one of my readers the chance to win a Caring Cross of their very own. This contest is open to the US and will end on November 28, 2011. Many thanks to My Caring Cross and good luck to all!

I learned the olive tree is an evergreen that can grow for thousands of years
I learned about how these are handmade from olive wood in Bethlehem. Such a great gift idea or even just something to have on your own for times of prayer. Love it! Thanks for the great giveaway!

I learned that when the Franciscans arrived in the 16th century the artisans began creating religious souvenirs for the pilgrims. Today, the cottage industry is a major source of income for the Christians of Bethlehem.
Thanks,

The craftsmen are Christians who live around Bethlehem. What they are paid helps to support their families and the Christian communities around there which is soooo important - Jill L
