Stress and Hair Loss

I've always had some kind of stress in my life, but it seems that as I get older (gasp) that I tend to lose way more hair.  My hair has thinned out over the years and it's a scary thing for me!  I don't have any bald spots (it's not THAT bad) but I can definitely tell it's thinner.  I've read tons of articles, about this very subject, and I didn't seem to find anything until I came across and article about how Apple Cider Vinegar helps.  I continued to read and found that many individuals use this vinegar mixed, equally, with water and spritz on the roots of their hair.  Others have said they do this plus ingest the vinegar orally.  Now, there is NO way I can ingest that stuff orally...but , I have found where you can take it in a pill form.  So, I have placed an order for 3 months worth and I plan to take it and along with using raw vinegar on my hair.  I sure do hope it works because, at this point, I am desperate.  Have any of you tried this method?  If not, what do you do to control the amount of hair you lose (if there is such method)?  I do know that you lose about 100 or so strands a day, but I lose way more than that.  Any personal suggestions?  I will definitely keep you guys updated on how this works out for me.

I have never heard of this before. My hair is thinner than it used to be also. The only time I remember having think healthy hair was when I was pregnant. I'm visiting from Thoughtful Thursday!

Hello, I am your newest follower. I love the layout of your blog. I have never heard of this treatment growing hair. I use biotin and it helps me out a lot. I used to be very stressed out and started using it and my hair is growing longer and I have always had thin hair, but it is starting to feel thicker. Hope that helps :)

Mine falls out seasonally, but fortunately it grows right back. I had no idea that apple cider vinegar was helpful for that!

I have always heard taking prenatal vitimans will help with hair loss, fortunately for me I have very thick hair so I haven't actually tried it. I am your newest GFC follower and would love if you dropped by kittycrochettwo.blogspot.com when you get a chance. Have a fantastic rest of the week.

I have read about so many different benefits from apple Cider vinegar. I lost a lot of hair after my son was born but didn't try anything for it. I think B vitamins like those in prenatals are helpful though.

Hey! Your newest follower. Thanks for following me too :) I shed horribly. I've just always been that way. Thank goodness I have tons of hair. It was cool when it pretty much stopped while I was preggers, but then was two fold after. And we have wood or tile throughout 90% of our home. The hubby loves that. Hmm. Never heard of this with the vinegar, but realize vinegar is great for so many things. Want to know an amazing chicken glaze that uses apple cider vinegar? Just in case you are trying to incorporate it more into your diet. It is seriously just 1/2c honey + 1T vinegar. It pairs with seriously delish Spicy Honey Chicken. Recipe is on my blog is ya like. :)
