Rocky Mountain Popcorn - Yummy In Your Tummy!
ABOUT THE COMPANY (From their website)
Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company started over 20 years ago in the eastern foothills of the great Rocky Mountains near Denver, CO. Long known, and much admired, as a great local product, the company grew by reputation until 2007, when it exploded onto the national scene, bringing the bold taste of the Rockies to a nation hungry for wholesome snacks.
One day the doorbell rings and on my doorstep was a large box with the Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company's logo on the side. I thought, WOW, how large are these bags to have to be packed into such a large box. Well, to my surprise, I opened the box to find multiple bags of various flavored popcorn! When my kids laid their little 'snack hungry' eyes upon the popcorn, they immediately grabbed up the bags to see what flavors they were ready to tackle first.
The first bag they decided to try was the Caramel Popcorn. Oh lawd have mercy was that some GOOD eats! The caramel popcorn literally melts in your mouth. It has the perfect amount of caramel, coating each and every piece to perfection. This one, by far, has to be my favorite. Unfortunately for me, they only included one bag and not 50!
As the day progressed, I could no longer hold back and decided I HAD to try the Jalapeno with White Cheddar Cheese. Oh my, this was the bomb! The flavoring was cheesy with a hint of jalapeno. As you continue to eat your handful, you start to feel a slight 'kick' from the jalapeno, which was not overwhelming; it was just the perfect amount of 'kick' to it.
MMM butterrrrr! Good ol' fashioned Butter Popcorn. You can't beat the taste of rich, buttery, luscious popcorn. Butter Popcorn reminded me of theater popcorn. I didn't think anything could beat the theater's popcorn but, I believe they've met their match with Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company's Butter Popcorn....spot on and Deee-licious!
Southwest Popcorn was the husband's favorite. He loves just about anything that contains lime. This popcorn contains rich, red chili flavor with a splash of lime. The description says it's fiery hot but we didn't find it hot at all. He was super excited to try this popcorn. He loved it, just I figured he would. I thought it was pretty darn good, myself. He kept both bags and only 'allowed' me to have a couple of handfuls while the rest was his....stingy!
White Cheddar was oh so cheesy. I love white cheddar cheese and this flavor was a huge hit with all of us! One thing about Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company is that they don't over do it with the flavor! They know just how much to add to give it the perfect flavor. I have tried many products that tend to be way overdone in the cheese department but the White Cheddar Popcorn was nothing short of perfection.
Last, but certainly not least, was the Naked Popcorn. This popcorn is natural and lightly salted. This popcorn was rather plain and just wasn't up my alley BUT, that doesn't mean you're not going to love it. It's a must that I have some type of flavoring to my popcorn so the Naked Popcorn was just that....naked!
As you can very well see, or read, Rocky Mountain Popcorn has some seriously delicious popcorn that you've got to allow yourself to try! Their 'Grip n' Pour Size' makes for a perfect snack; easy to hold and pour into your mouth. All of the products are all natural, gluten and nut free! Try if yourself and you be the judge!
WHERE TO BUY: You can purchase online through their website HERE or you can search by zip code HERE to find a store near you.
