ABOUT THE COMPANY

Alicia Klein® designed and first introduced the Taxi Wallet® in 1987. It was originally designed to be a travel wallet, but it quickly became a favorite everyday wallet – it is now sold worldwide to men and women alike. Men love it for the curved corners – which make it the perfect front pocket wallet. They also wear it snapped over their belt. And women love it because it’s small enough to fit inside of a clutch or small handbag.

As it was originally meant to be a travel wallet, it was named “Taxi” as Taxi is the same in every language – in Paris you call for a Taxi, in Italy you call for a Taxi, same in London, and, of course, in New York City! Alicia Klein® trademarked the name Taxi Wallet® and is the only one allowed to use that name for a wallet. Many have tried to copy us and have tried using the Taxi name – but we are the true blue authentic Taxi Wallet®.

I received the beautiful Taxi Wallet, from the Croco Print Collection, in red. The color is not just red but a nice, rich red color. The Croco Print is an Italian tanned cowhide, finished to mimic fine French alligator skins. I love the look and feel of this wallet. As I mentioned before, the sleek design just adds to the sophistication of the wallet.

The inside has two security/currency pockets that can be used to separate U.S. and foreign money.

The outside pocket is where you keep your loose change. It's really hard to tell from the picture, but inside this pocket is a security pocket which holds your driver license and a few credit cards.

The easy accessible pocket, you see in the picture, is great for holding those receipts or even business cards. I tend to hold on to my receipts so this is a really nice, quick and easy way to retrieve them, if needed.

How do you know if this wallet is for you? Well, are you tired of carrying around a bulky wallet only to have just a few, measly items in there? Are you tired of your wallet taking up too much space in your handbag? Or do you ever wish you could just carry a beautiful, classy, yet durable wallet in your pocket without the bulge?
