I have owned many blow dryers throughout my life; from a less expensive $20 one to more pricier (what i would consider) one at around $80. I felt like, at the time, that I was out of my mind for spending $80 on a hair appliance! You know what though, that blow dryer lasted me about 8 years before it finally gave out. At the time, I didn't have the money so I had to settle on another $20 blow dryer. If any of you have been there and done that, then you will know what I'm talking about when I say... there is a huge difference in the less expensive versus the higher end. My hair just hasn't performed the same since...that is until I was introduced to something new AND better.

I was way too happy when I received the chance to try out InfraShine's UL3 Dryer. My thoughts were as follows: this has got to be one heck of a blow dryer to cost $240, I wonder if my hair will feel like silk after using this! Ok, so as soon as I received the blow dryer, I hopped into the shower. I let my hair dry about 40%, like I always do, and grabbed the blow dryer and turned it on. Surprisingly, it's a lot more quiet then any other blow dryer I've used. It has multilevel heat and air settings that offer high, medium or low amounts of heat and high or low airflow while the locking cool shot button sets the style and increases shine. I have quite a bit of hair and it seems like it takes FOREVER to blow dry. I was honestly blown away (no pun intended) by the amount of time it took to completely dry my hair. It normally takes about 15 minutes with my old blow dryer and with the UL3 dryer, it took about 7 minutes; this is one powerful tool! My hair felt so silky and smooth, so much so that I really didn't need to use my straightening iron. I couldn't stop touching my hair; my kids couldn't stop touching it either! I expect a lot from a high dollar hair appliance and the UL3 delivered beyond my wildest expectations! I was more than happy to replace my current blow dryer!

The UL3 came with 3 attachments; I'm really not sure if they sent an extra attachment by mistake...but non the less, I was happy with the extra nozzle. Since I have stick straight hair, I really don't have any need for the diffuser attachment but you curly haired girls and guys will definitely get some use from it. I always use a nozzle, when blow drying, as it helps to concentrate the air instead of blowing it around all over the place.

There is a nice, extra long, tangle resistant cord and a removable rear grill that makes for easy cleaning and then snaps securely into place for long-lasting use. The UL3 Dryer is also backed by a one year manufacturer's warranty.

All in all, if you are looking for a high quality blow dryer that delivers what it promises and much more, then you should definitely check into the UL3 Dryer from InfraShine...you get what you pay for!
